January 2015

Dear Friends,

We begin our 14th year of providing quality educational programs for adults with what I hope you will find an interesting and impressive mix of events. We just completed a very successful 2014. Program attendance hit a new record, our successful Literary Ball showed we know how to throw a party, and we were awarded Best Non-Profit Organization by readers of the Battenkill Business Journal.

Our winter programs cover international issues, history, science, and music. We have courses that explore creativity through writing, pottery and woodworking. We continue to offer the ever popular bridge classes and culinary series. And we hope to entertain you with a film series (co-sponsored with Manchester Community Library) and National Theatre broadcasts from London partnered with Burr and Burton Academy.

I am grateful to the many institutions in the community that have opened their doors to us, allowing us to use their space for our programs. I am also grateful for the many volunteers who serve on our board and committees who help make things happen at GMALL.

Finally, our year-round programming would not be what it is without the support of our generous donors, who underwrite our activities and advertise in our catalogs. For those of you who like what we do, please consider making a donation online or with a check payable to GMALL and mailed to P.O. Box 129, Dorset, VT 05251.

We look forward to a great winter season and hope to see you at our events.

Happy New Year,

Gloria Palmer

Executive Director
