Garden Tree Talk
- Sep 21 2021
- Expired!
- 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Come explore the many topics related to overall tree health. We will delve into root collar disorders, the number one reason why planted trees fail in the landscape. We will learn about incorporating biochar into soil structure and adelgid insects that cause substantial damage on conifers in our area. Jeromy will unpack what goes into planting a tree properly for long-term plant success, how biochar is made and its benefits, and will discuss identification of a few adelgid insects and treatment to keep evergreens healthy. Bring your questions about trees and photos if you like.
This is an outdoor program. We will be walking the grounds of the arts center. Please wear comfortable footwear. Space is limited; pre-registration is required.
