Making a Shaker Table – An Introduction to Woodworking
- Jan 07 2024
- 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Shaker furniture is a favorite of beginning woodworkers because it is a timeless style and is a great way to develop solid foundational woodworking skills. Participants in this class will build a small Shaker table that could be a coffee table, end table, hallway table, etc., depending on the dimensions chosen. The project will serve as a way to get participants familiar with basic woodworking machinery and joinery. We will explore some of the properties of wood along with basic principles of design and furniture construction. No experience is necessary.
This class will meet on Sundays, January 7, 14, 21, 28, February 4.
The $350 registration fee includes all materials.
