Mushroom Foraging – July Workshop (PM)
It’s chanterelle season! Chef Ian Vair will lead our group through the forest as we discover this summer’s abundance of golden chanterelles. Come learn proper foraging techniques, safety precautions, field guide comprehension, wild mushroom identification, and delicious culinary applications.
Dress appropriately for hiking in the woods on terrain that may be uneven and rocky. Bring a basket, a water bottle, and insect spray.
Ian Vair is a wild mushroom forager and French trained chef from Vermont. Green Mountain Fungi (greenmountainfungi.com) is an extension of Ian’s knowledge, passion and experience in the fields of mycology and culinary arts!
