Mushroom Foraging – May Workshop

It’s spring and the wild mushroom season is here again! Foraging for highly sought-after morel mushrooms will be the highlight of our adventure. Join Ian Vair, mushroom guru and chef, on this year’s first fungal foraging workshop. Chef Ian will discuss safety precautions, field guide comprehension, identifying factors, ideal terrain, and numerous culinary applications. Don’t miss out on the adventure!

Dress appropriately for hiking in the woods on terrain that may be uneven and rocky. Bring a basket, a water bottle, and insect spray.

Ian VairIan Vair is a wild mushroom forager and French trained chef from Vermont.  Green Mountain Fungi (greenmountainfungi.com) is an extension of Ian’s knowledge, passion and experience in the fields of mycology and culinary arts!
