Pickleball for Beginners – Wednesdays
- May 18 2022
- Expired!
- 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

If you are interested in learning the sport of pickleball, this is the clinic for you! We will start with basics… dinking, ground strokes, volleys, serves, scoring and some game play. Combining elements of other racquet sports, pickleball is played on a badminton-sized court with a slightly modified tennis net, using a solid wood or composite paddle and a plastic ball with holes. If you have your own paddle, bring it. If not, no worries, we will have extras. Please dress appropriately for court play and bring a water bottle.
Class will meet Wednesdays, May 18, 25, June 1.
INSTRUCTOR:
Gloria Palmer is a IPTPA Level One certified pickleball instructor. She is also a watercolor artist and Executive Director of Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning. Gloria will be assisted by fellow certified instructors Jim Evans and Jane MacKugler.
