Pickleball for Beginners

*SOLD OUT* If you are interested in learning the sport of pickleball, this is the clinic for you! We will start with basics… dinking, ground strokes, volleys, serves, scoring and some game play. Combining elements of other racquet sports, pickleball is played on a badminton-sized court with a slightly modified tennis net, using a solid wood or composite paddle and a plastic ball with holes. If you have your own paddle, bring it. If not, no worries, we will have extras. Please dress appropriately for court play and bring a water bottle. Space is limited to 8 students.

This class will meet on Sundays, September 5, 12 and 19.

Gloria Palmer is a IPTPA Level One certified pickleball instructor. She is also a watercolor artist and Executive Director of Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning.
